First of many 2012 projects

One of the projects that we've been hinting at over the coarse of the last couple weeks is about to see the light of day.  Well, online anyway.  Regardless, we are excited to announce our little foray into illustrative online recipes.  Here are the details of this new adventure for all of us.

Little Lucy is teaming up with food blogger La Fuji Mama for a new online adventure in cooking and delicious, fun and kid-friendly recipes.  Lucy was featured in a post and gift giveaway in early December.  Once a month, our favorite little imaginative redhead will be featured in a new illustration (an illustration of the month so to speak) and posted jointly here and on La Fuji Mama's website along with a new and exciting (did we mention kid-friendly?) recipe.  Be sure to check out the book she authored about Family Friendly Japanese Cuisine, here. (Side note: Lucy artist Mike redesigned Fuji's Sea Bream logo which was featured in a post here.)

Our plan, after we arrive at December 2012, is to put all the illustrations and the recipes into a fun little kid's cookbook.  More details to come, since we did just start the year 2012.  So, here's the full illustration for January.  The post is now live!  Go check it out by clinking on the La Fuji Mama link above.  The recipe post will appear on La Fuji Mama's website within the next couple of days.  So, go check it out and if Lucy isn't on there, come back at a later time.  We are trying to coordinate our joint efforts so please bear with us as we figure all this out.  All we know is that we are super-excited to do this and hope you join us in our imaginary culinary adventures!  They should be quite tasty.
